Sofa seats and back cushion are rather firm . We have read the reviews and specs but still did not expect it to be this hard. Also will not recommend if you are those that prefer to rest your head on the backrest of the sofa as this sofa has a rather short backrest. Cloth material for the sofa is rather scratchy too. All in all , it is what you get for what you paid for
